Our purpose for creating The Moving Girls & Guys in the year 2000 was to eliminate the stresses senior citizens and their families feel when downsizing, relocating or moving  by insuring all details of the move is organized and completed.

 

We handle all aspects of the move

• Contacting and scheduling with the new residence
• Packing of all personal belongings
• Moving furniture and packed boxes

 

Arriving at the new residence

• All boxes are unpacked and belongings organized
• Furniture arranged
• Clothes organized and hung
• Kitchens set-up
• Appliances and electronics connected
• Decorative items displayed
• Pictures hung
• Beds made
• Slippers by the bed

• In-house moves within the Retirement Community
• Accept trucks and shipments from out-of-state for unloading, unpacking

This entire process normally takes two days, one day to pack your belongings and one day to move furniture and boxes and completely set-up your new home.

When you arrive at dinnertime, your new home is comfortably organized and decorated with your own belongings making you feel at ease and at home.
